Here are few of the latest baby items I have finished in the last week or so. I really am enjoying the baby knitting. My needles and sewing machine are staying very busy.

Taste Of Spring In Rainy Oregon
Just some pictures from my yard in rainy Oregon. I love spring here. Enjoy the flowers but ignore the weeds.

We Are Going To Be Grandparents!
We are going to be grandparents. Our Darling Daughter is blessing us with our first grandchild, a granddaughter. She is due on May 3, 2011, but it looks like she is coming early.
I started knitting for her when dd was safely at 12 weeks. I haven't stopped knitting for and have added crocheting and sewing to the mix. The crocheting is somewhat new for me. I struggle to get the project just right and tend to have very tight stitches, but I am learning and enjoying it as I go. Sewing is easy for me I have been doing that since I was 8 yrs old. I have sewn up some cute bibs and plan on sewing burp cloths next week.
I have posted a ton of picture of most of the things i have made for our McKenna. I am excited to see her wear the that I have worked so hard on. Each stitch is filled with love and dreams for her future. I find myself wondering what type of person she will be, will she has her mom's smile that goes all the way to her eyes, will she be mischievous like her mom and uncle. Will she be a girlie girl or more of a tom-boy. I can't wait to meet this little girl and shower her with lots of love. I just hope she waits a couple more weeks to arrive.
