MY BOYS

So The guys went fishing today. Barry took Scott up to Carmen Reservoir, which is up the McKenzie river. It is a beautiful place to go. The scenery is incredible, the fishing is plentiful and you rarely have a bad time.

Scott started taking the kids and I up there years ago. This a place of many fond childhood memories for him and he wanted to share it with us. I am so grateful that he did. Now our son is taking him there and one day may take his own son.

Anyways on to the good stuff. They brought home 7 wonderful trout. The biggest is 16 inches and the smallest is 8 inches. Have a look at the beautiful fish that will go into our freezer for the winter.

CHAPSTICK HOLDER

Rachel of Rachel_Knitting_Room posted the cutest pattern for a chap stick holder. When I saw it I knew I had to crochet it up for Crystal. My darling daughter is always asking me for my chap stick because she can't find hers. So I hooked it up for her knowing she would love it and use it. Now she has no excuse for not being able to find hers...LOL. The pattern can be found here:
Here is the one I made. Oh it only took 30 minutes tops.

FRANK

I have some new pictures of Frank that I want to share. Crystal has the stomach Flu and hasn't felt well at all this week. She had to go to classes today so when she got home she decided to take a nap. Little did she know that Frank was going to join her. How can he sleep like that?!?!

Frank went on his first trip to Pet Smart on Monday evening. He had fun going and looking around. He left with a new toy and a bag of treats. We had to stop him from grabbing a bone that was twice his size. He really did want to bring the thing home with us but it stay, much to his dismay. Here he is with his new toy.
